HIAT-650 TR/AG is an entry-level piston aircraft. It is a versatile platform with a self-orienting tail support for primary training of agricultural aviation pilots. The successful combination of airframe and engine provides optimal flight speed and pilot safety. The HIAT-650 has the great advantage of side-by-side seating and dual controls. Side-by-side seating provides effective conditions for communication and load sharing between instructor and student. Dual control allows:
- to approach the learning process correctly;
- timely correct mistakes of the cadet-pilot;
- to relieve the load of one of the pilots.
The aircraft is equipped with an Aero Sport Power O-360-A1A piston engine. The power plant allows to provide lower fuel costs and reduce the cost of initial training of agricultural aviation pilots.
