Chemical Aircraft Technology is approved by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine as a "Maintenance Organisation" in accordance with the Air Law of Ukraine and the requirements of Part-M (Certificate of Approval No. UA.MF.0002).
The aircraft maintenance organization "HiAT" LLC, in order to improve flight safety, organized and constantly implements the "Aircraft Maintenance System".
Aircraft Maintenance System – designed to
- Restoring and maintaining airworthiness;
- Ensuring the safe operation of aircraft;
- and preparation of aircraft for flights.
Airworthiness management organisations, operators, maintenance and repair organizations, and the aviation engineering service of airports/airfields/runways, provide and carry out aircraft maintenance.
To ensure the successful operation of the maintenance system, an aircraft maintenance organization is required:
- Constantly (if necessary) makes suggestions for improving aircraft maintenance programs;
- Controls and ensures that aircraft performance meets the requirements of airworthiness standards;
- Organizes and performs maintenance and repair of aircraft and its components, implements airworthiness directives, carries out modifications, inspections and inspections in accordance with the requirements of operational and repair documentation;
- Performs registration, accounting and data processing, and, if necessary, urgent notification of aircraft failures and damage detected in flight and on the ground, operational obstacles and other cases of airworthiness violations;
- Manages the quality of maintenance and repair;
- Maintains and distributes operational documentation, including numbered documentation;
- Carries out accounting and reporting in the prescribed form: on maintenance and repair, resource status, implementation of airworthiness directives, improvements according to bulletins, aircraft use and movement, and qualifications of aviation and technical personnel;
- Monitors the status of and fulfills certification requirements for aviation technical personnel;
- Ensures occupational health and safety of aviation technical personnel and environmental protection
- Organizes maintenance and repairs;
- Ensures the maintenance and repair of the necessary premises, equipment, spare parts and aviation technical property, their maintenance, storage and service;
- Organizes and carries out work to restore damaged aircraft.
The objects of operation in the maintenance system are aircraft registered in the State Register of Ukraine and for which a "Registration Certificate" and "Certificate of Airworthiness" have been issued in accordance with the Aviation Regulations of Ukraine.
The operator in whose name the "Registration Certificate" of the aircraft is issued is responsible for maintaining the airworthiness of the aircraft.
The functioning of the maintenance system is ensured by the relevant bodies of the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine (SAAU). For this purpose, they conduct:
Aircraft type certification;
- Air operator certificate;
- Continuing airworthiness management organisatin approval certificate;
- Maintenance organisation approval certificate;
- Certification of enterprises responsible for the design of aircraft types;
- Certification of aviation personnel and officials of the aviation engineering service;
- State registration of aircraft;
- Aircraft certification;
- supervising the implementation of Aviation Regulations of Ukraine in the structural units of the Aviation Engineering Service;
- publishing and improving Aviation Regulations of Ukraine;
- Issue of Airworthiness Directives;
- Enactment of mandatory newsletters from the Design organization.
The aircraft maintenance organization performs its functions in accordance with the following: a certificate of the maintenance and repair organization, a maintenance and repair program from the operator, a maintenance manual from the organization of the developer of the specific aircraft, and agreements between various companies.
