Training of technical staff
- Theoretical training and internships are conducted in accordance with ICAO standards in accordance with the requirements of Part-66, Part-147.
- The duration of the course varies depending on the model of the aircraft and is about 5-7 weeks.
- Upon completion of the training, training certificates for the type of aircraft are issued, which are further required to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Technician Certificate in accordance with ICAO standards and Part-66, 147 requirements.
- Also, our students have a unique opportunity to gain practical experience (as aircraft maintenance personnel) - which is also an integral part of obtaining an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer/Technician Certificate in accordance with ICAO standards and Part-66, 147 requirements.
HiAT LLC is approved by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine as a "Maintenance training and examination organisation" in accordance with the current aviation legislation of Ukraine and the requirements of Part-147 (Certificate of Approval No. UA.147.0015).
We train aviation personnel in the maintenance of civil aircraft and components intended for installation on such aircraft.
The organization has established procedures that are acceptable to the competent authority to ensure appropriate training standards and that our organization meets the requirements of Part-147
Training of technical personnel for an aircraft type is divided into two elements:
- Theoretical training course, categories B1 and B2;
- Practical training course, categories B1 and B2.
1. Theoretical training
The purpose of training is to be able to:
- determine security measures for the aircraft;
- Identify maintenance practices;
- Identify and name the locations of the main aircraft systems;
- Identify special tools and equipment used;
- Identify and specify the location of the main components of the system;
- Describe the features of access to system components;
- Explain the principles of normal functioning of the system;
- Perform system checks as specified in the maintenance manual;
- Identify and properly use aircraft documentation;
- Analyze information in order to make decisions regarding fault diagnosis and troubleshooting;
- Identify and describe procedures for replacing components.

2. Practical training
The purpose of training is to be able to:
- Correct use of the relevant technical documentation;
- Completion of the task within the allotted time;
- Proper access to the component;
- Proper demonstration of acquired knowledge of the aircraft system;
- Ensure that the maintenance task or procedure is performed safely in accordance with the maintenance manual or other documents;
- Proper use of special tools or test equipment;
- Correct execution of the necessary documents.
